Cade Moran, a Michigan-bound senior at Murrieta Mesa, won the boys shot put title with a 64-3.25 (19.58m) mark in the fifth round at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Moran also placed second in the discus throw final by achieving a mark of 199-6 (60.80m).
